School

nearly the end to
my lazy, lovely summer
and now life begins!

I'll see friends again.
Is homework really worth it?
I think it might be!

just in case I die
know I went to school willing
to learn my brains out.

Can free time really
be so close to ending now?
summer is so short.

school is where students
learn, listen, socialize, live
now I'm one of them

The Weight of the World

I saw some weights in the corner just barely and, since I was thinking about the fast-approaching drastic change in my life, I found a commonness between them. School, like a weight, is a heavy thing in this life and it weighs down on us. But one thing my father recently used these weights for is to hold down some wood he was gluing to fix the table. Like weights, again, trials are hard and heavy but they hold us in the right place in life, gluing us and making us stronger for later trials that could break us.

A momentous occasion

I'm actually posting!
I know, another bland post about posting on a blog...but no!
I refuse to bore you half to death!
An update is required for I finally added new pictures (check 'em out!) and I couldn't resist adding my hundredth post along with it. I feel so useless in this world, posting one hundred times in less than a year. Makes me feel like a hermit who's got nothing more interesting to do in life. But my pictures stand as proof that I don't sit around at my computer ALL day, just most of the day.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this little window into my life.

Ninety Nine and Counting

99 is the name of a girl control agent in the show Get Smart.
99 is the number of post this is.
99 is how many red balloons there are in that song.
99 bottles of rootbeer on the wall when you're on a long car ride.
99 comes before one hundred.
neun und neunzig, in other words, is an important number.
And this is my ninety nine! ENJOY!

Whoa, August

I love the number two. And today is the second!
Wow, the summer break went by fast. It isn't over yet, but it sure is getting closer and closer.
Summer is definitely a blast! I went to the Oregon Coast last month and took some pictures. Sometime soon there'll be some of the good ones up on my pictures tab.
