SNOW
Yesterday, I thought I'd found the snow that we'd been missing for the past couple weeks. Well, it turns out I was wrong. After snowing all day yesterday and most of the night, we have at least a foot of snow and much more than that on our piles of shoveled snow. Wow, amazing! This is so much fun! Our district even canceled school for the first time in yeeeaaars! I thought that yesterday was fun with a ton of good packing snow but today, that's a different story.

What ever happened to the snow?
Well, I FOUND IT!!!
I never thought the snow would come and now, out of nowhere, it suddenly dumps a load on us. I love the snow and it just didn't feel like the Christmas season without it. Well, Now It Does! It has been snowing all day, all morning. I LOVE it!

Rocks simply rock
Sometimes I wish I were a Rock. Yep, that's about it. But I love rocks. They are solid, perfectly unique, scientific, constant, and there are so many types of them. That's why you can never have a perfectly complete rock collection. Unless you have all the rocks you want, then it is perfect to you. I love rocks...because they rock! (guess what, I love mountains, which are basically huge rocks!)

Laugh
"Learn to laugh at yourself. A sense of humor can make a bad day a lot better."
When you are feeling depressed and sorry for yourself, just look in from the outside and see yourself. What do you see? Do you see someone having fun, being happy, enjoying life? Or do you see someone being a little unintelligent, not noticing the good around them, missing out on life? Isn't it just a little bit ridiculous? Laugh at it, laugh it off and get on with life. You can make your life the way you want it to be.

The Winter Cold
Winter can get cold in the mountains where I'm from. It makes it very hard to want to go outside. It is also wonderful, though. The combination brings snow and a new kind of beauty. Some people don't like it, but I enjoy the difference between a sizzling hot summer and a snowy freezing winter.

Sister
My sister is as much a best friend as I could ever have. Then again, my best friend is much like a sister to me. Often I find it difficult to differentiate between the two. Sister and best friend, best friend and sister; they seem to go hand in hand.

Give Thanks
A thankful person will show their thanks in creative ways. They will show more love, give hugs, give service, write notes, make others happy, and be happy. Showing thanks makes us happy, as well as others. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving!

There are two of me!
Life is so much work. I want to just forget it all and be my lazy, outgoing, fun-loving, care-free self. But then my organized, perfectionist, thoughtful, successful self says that it's in charge.

Music
"Soul-filled music has the capacity to wash away the dust from the human mind."
-Unknown
Music is amazing. I absolutely love it. I love being a part of it, creating it, listening to the beauty of it, enjoying it, and making others happy through it. I'm not talking about the filler noise that you play to keep the silence away. That is just annoying. I'm talking about truly beautiful music, stuff that plays with your emotions and makes you want to dance, sing, cry, create, live. Music is just one of those things that has power that no one can resist.

Spiritual Thought #1
Forget differences that you cannot change. Focus instead on what's important: the intent of the heart.

What is Today?
Today is the first day of the rest of your life.
Make it good.
The rest of your life is waiting, don't look behind you except to learn from your mistakes or remember.
As Timon and Pumbaa put it:
P: You got to put your behind in your past.
T: No, You got to put your past behind you.
Make it good.

Relativity
What one may think is cold, another might consider warm. And what one views as amazing, another may despise. Each of our lives have been lived differently, and so each of our opinions and points of view differ accordingly. We all live in the same world, we just don't live the same way. We have no right to use this diversity to judge others. Rather we should cherish our differences as a symbol of our uniquity and love others even more for theirs.
